I really intended to try out this set for my 3 year old, but once it arrived I really just wanted to paint some myself (don't make fun of my paint skills please haha). The pages are really thick, definitely no bleeding through. A few of the first pages have a glittery color portion it too which was cute. I really like the idea of the water pen for myself (easier to control for painting small areas). There is definitely enough paint to last through the whole paint book. The paint is a bit more staining than traditional water color, so keep that in mind for messes. Overall it is a really good value paint book kit. Tons of fun. Will be getting more (for myself at least, possibly my toddler when she is a little older).
I absolutely love these types of books. Easy for my 4 year old to do herself with very little mess. Paint is good quality and paper is thick so it doesn't make holes.

That said, my daughter ended up using it for mixing colors, which turned out to be a nice bonus. It has everything needed to learn how to paint - just add water.Included in this set are 26 pages of things to colour, a mess-free paintbrush, and a paint set. 20 of the pages are full sheet pictures, and the other 6 are little bookmarks and smaller pieces to paint.The paint is nicely pigmented and easy to use. The brush is really great because there is no cup of water to spill. A lovely set! Perfect for kids!

The paper is thick and good quality. There's enough paint on the page to paint the picture. I think the age range should be more like 3-5 years. My 3-year-old granddaughter does a lot of coloring and painting, and I think she's a little more careful than the average 3-year-old to color different parts of the picture with different colors - she doesn't scrawl all over the page. She enjoyed this a little bit, but she prefers using tempera paint because the colors are more vivid. The paper is thick enough that it would work well with tempera paint, so I think we'll try that the next time. I don't think this would be appropriate for a 1-year-old, and I'm not sure how much a 2-year-old would get out of it.

Bought these for our beach trip for some an easy indoor activity and rainy day activity. The paper is thick and easy for my toddler to use. **Only One small paint brush is included so if you're buying for multiple kids I recommend having some extra brushes!** The paint strip is on a perforated tab so you can easily remove before or after the painting is done. And each complete page is also perforated so you can easily select individual pictures and tear them out without any tears lol!
These are so much fun. My 6 year old, 5 year old and 2 year old all had fun with them. The color comes off very bright and it lasts plenty long enough to complete the painting. I like how each book has a different activity you can do after you finish the picture. My favorite are the monsters that you fold. The paper is thick and it doesnt bleed through or tear if they use too much water. These would be easy to take with you on the go for traveling. The pictures are small but a good size for little kids and they work really well which makes it east for them. You get a lot of pictures for the cost so i think they are a good value and id definitely recommend them.
My daughter loves this and so do i. It's wayyy less messy than other painting methods and easy to clean up the-use. She loves the princess themes and the pen is easy to refill. Only thing is it doesn't follow the lefty loosely, righty righty method so that took me a minute to figure out.
