These are great little scissors. They seem to be safe. The grip and size is wonderful for a little hands. I'm sure they could cut all the wrong things. Supervision is definitely still necessary. If the little one wanted to cut things, they should not. All in all, they're great.

I'm a school OT and tried these with my kids in preschool and kinder. They work great and are better than loop scissors for some kids. Easy to grip and squeeze.

What a find. These are incredible and 2.5 year old can finally cut which he's been desperately trying to learn.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I am so far very excited about these scissors. I enjoy crocheting, and often tote around some yarn and a hook. Now I am glad to have a pair of scissors that I feel like I can safely pack as well. I love that these retract, and that I can have them packed in a bag and not worry about getting poked or my toddler getting into them. I have yet to let my toddler start using them as scissors, but I am very pleased with toting them around with me.

If you want your toddler to learn how to cut paper, bills , the dogs fur or his brothers hair these are the scissors for you . The child safety mechanism isn't tricky enough for my toddler but it may work for yours. Good pair of scissor for the price though.

This has come in very handy. I don't use it for my kids but for a bar I run in the airport. We cannot use regular scissors for security purposes. It cuts really good though.

My son can cut but to cut shapes or small things it's hard for him these scissors made it easy. I like the design how they slide in and out and my son figured it out. However they do seem sharper then regular toddler scissors so just be careful. I caught my son trying to cut his face. It's light weight and works well. The color I got was green and orange , great value.
These are wonderful for toddlers learning how to cut. These scissors lock tightly when not in use and are purposely made a wee bit difficult to open, thereby requiring adult supervision. They are amazingly strong, easily cutting paper of various thickness and are perfect for little hands.

If you have a special needs child or struggling with development issues these are perfect! I'm older and have gripping and strength issues and these are great for me as well!
